May Update
Congratulations to our neighbours in Smalley on the news that their pedestrian crossing is scheduled for completion this summer.
Congratulations to Morley on the news that DCC have recommended that we have a puffin crossing and a 30mph zone through the Smithy. The first hurdle is behind us. The next stage is to have funds allocated to the scheme, and as we wait on the reserve list we need to keep the CC focus on our appeal.
This web site www.morleycrossing.com has won the praise of the CC, the police and local councillors for its professionalism and clear information. Please remember to leave a message of support to add weight to the appeal.
Amazing progress has been made since the appeal was launched only four months ago and the credit is due to those in the community who have given their support, help and advice, and the backing of all the councillors, governors, and of course all those ‘new’ friends we have made working on our behalf at County Hall. Team work!!
